Many controversies surrounding Kaabil V/s Raees clash have been sparked. This is because as per Rakesh Roshan, SRK is switching dates and following Kaabil’s footsteps.
Earlier Raees was slated to release on the 26th of January, but as soon as Kaabil shifted its date 1 day prior i.e. on the 25th of January, even SRK planned to release his movie on the same day and that too in the morning, as opposed to Kaabil’s evening release.
This didn’t go down well with Rakesh Roshan and he slammed Shah Rukh for these dirty games. However, King Khan gave explanation for all this at the trailer launch of Raees.
He says that he had no intentions whatsoever to purposely clash with Kaabil. Further, SRK stated that the actual release date is always revealed with the trailer and so, they did the same. In fact, Raees makers wanted to take advantage of the 26th January holiday and this is the reason, they preponed the release.
In SRK’s language, they shifted the release not to clash with Kaabil, but to earn some extra profits!
