There is no denying the fact that Salman Khan has been ruling the Bollywood industry for decades and he has the power to uplift anyone’s career and hence, it won’t be wrong to call him a star maker since he has given a special identity and recognition to many unknown faces like Sonakshi Sinha and several others. One name which must be mentioned from this perspective is Katrina Kaif who indeed survives in the industry because of Sallu Miya, at least Katrina thinks so.
True, Salman not only recognizes talent but also gives them wings to achieve what all they would have never ever thought and at one fell swoop, people do express their gratitude for him; nevertheless, he never brags about the same. Recently in an interview, the actor stated that Katrina always says, “whatever she is today, is because of me.” However, he neither thinks likewise nor agrees with it. According to him, she works hard and in fact, like a “mazdoor” (laborer). Salman went on to say that each and every person should be like Katrina (hard working).
In the words of Salman Khan, “Katrina says that whatever I am today, is because of Salman Khan. Katrina Kaif has achieved everything on her own because she is very hard working. I have NEVER seen a more hardworking girl than Katrina in my whole life. She is India’s biggest star for you. But according to me, Katrina is a mazdoor (labourer). That is how much she works on herself. You guys have to learn from her.”
