Virat Kohli became famous when Under-19 Indian cricket team won the Under-19 ICC World Cup under his leadership in the year 2008 and since then, he has grown from strength to strength. India has won four Under-19 World Cups, Virat Kohli was the second Indian under-19 skipper under whose captaincy the Indian squad won the World Cup, the first Indian Under-19 skipper was Mohammad Kaif (2000) and the third and the fourth skippers were Unmukt Chand (2012) and Prithvi Shaw (2018), respectively.

In the Under-19 World Cup 2008, Virat Kohli got only wicket and that was of New Zealand’s Kane Williamson whom he dismissed in the semi-finals. If we talk about his overall international career, he has taken only 8 wickets in total in all the formats of the game.

The Indian cricket team will be facing West Indies in the 3-match ODI series at home starting Feb 6 (tomorrow) and every Indian cricket fan will love to see Virat Kohli scoring a century as it has been nearly 2 years that he has scored a century.
