Today we are going to talk about a lady named Gauri Prasad Mahadik whose husband and Army Man di*d in 2017 due to a fire accident near the India-China border. Gauri didn’t just decide to stay strong, she also stood tall to follow the footsteps of her husband.

Yes, Gauri decided to pay tribute to her husband by being an army woman and she quit her job. The lady who was a qualified lawyer and company secretary left her job as it is and started practising for Services Selection Board (SSB) exam. In her second attempt, she passed the exam and emerged a topper. Now she is all set to join the Officers Training Academy and once she completes her 49-week training, she will be joining the army as a Lieutenant in March 2020.

Sharing her feeling, Gauri said that her husband always wanted to see her happy & smiling. Now she has decided to join the forces where she’ll wear his uniform, his stars on their uniform. She further explains that it’s our uniform because it’s her and his uniform.
