This incident is so shocking! A woman in Goldsboro, US, purchased a 2nd hand deep freezer worth $30 from a garage sale held by her neighbor and what happened post that was a nightmare for her. Yes, she found a dead body inside the freezer.
The woman was shocked to see parts of a dead body inside and exclaimed “My heart was in my throat and I ran outside, called 911,”
She further said that she didn’t open it immediately since she was told by her neighbor that it was being used as a ‘Time Capsule’. The seller stated that the freezer was part of a class project(Sunday School in Church) and instructed her not to open it.
The woman said
“A church was supposed to come, pick up the items inside the freezer. I was supposed to get the freezer back. The church never came. I decided to open it,”
After seeing the contents, the woman called 911 and said “I have a serious problem. My neighbour sold me a deep freezer. I just opened it and there’s a body in there I think. I am freaking out,”
The woman believes that the body was of her neighbor’s elderly mother. She said “She sold me her frozen mother for $30. How do you do something like that?”
The buyer further added that the mother had lived for years with her daughter but couldn’t be seen since the month of September.
She added “(She was) Just the sweetest lady. I mean quiet, kept to herself, stayed at home. Just unbelievable how she could just stick her mom in a freezer,”
The day she purchased the freezer, her neighbor had left the town. The incident is being investigated by Goldsboro police as felony concealing or failing to notify person’s death.
