This Woman Clicked A Photo Outside A Cafe & People Want Her Dead Now For This Reason

On Monday, the Saudi police took a young woman into custody after she took off her veil in public, clicked a picture of her and posted it on social media network. The name of the lady has not been made public by the police but some online users have identified her as Malak Al-Shehri.

Take a look at the photo that Malak posted; however, as per International Business Times, the photo has been deleted now.

Fawaz al-Maiman, the police spokesman, has made it clear that the police has acted according to the law and it is their duty to keep a check on “violations of general morals”.

He further said that the lady clicked a photo standing next to famous Riyadh café; however, the mistake that she made is that she was without the Islamic headscarf which is compulsory for ladies in Saudi Arabia. Malak. who is only 20 yrs old, has also been accused of “speaking openly about prohibited relations with (non-related) men”.

Fawaz further said, “Riyadh police stress that the action of this woman violates the laws applied in this country,” and he also requested the public that they should “adhere to the teachings of Islam”.

The women in Saudi society need to cover themselves from head to toe whenever they appear in public places and the ladies in Saudi Arabia do not even have the permission to drive.
