People these days are so obsessed with superstars or any celebrity that they don’t even hesitate to take their or anyone else’s life in regards to them. Similarly, an incident has been reported in Jabalpur, where a woman took her life just because her husband mocked Aamir Khan on his recent remarks on intolerance. The family members say that she consumed poison for committing suicide.
Police officials said they are investigating the suicide by Sonam Pandey and looking into the alleged claims made by victims family members that she took her life since she was distressed by her husband’s jokes on Aamir Khan.
According to Sonam’s Father-in-law, “Sonam and her husband Mayank were talking about reports and articles published in newspapers on Aamir Khan’s remarks. It was then Mayank started mocking Aamir Khan by saying what kind of Bollywood star he is, who wants to settle abroad on his wife’s advice. Sonam in full of anger ran upstairs and locked herself up by hearing her husband’s criticism on Aamir Khan. After a while when Mayank heard her screaming, he went upto the room and found Sonam vomiting. The family rushed her immediately to the hospital where she died from consuming poison.”
The investigating Police Inspector Praful Shrivastava said, “We are investigating the matter and will proceed step by step accordingly.”
If you are still unaware of the matter, Aamir Khan sparked controversy recently by stating that her wife Kiran Rao suggested her to leave INDIA and settle abroad given the incidents of Intolerance in the country.
