Crimes against women are, no doubt, very serious issues and they take place in almost every corner of the world.
The sad part is most of them go unreported as going to law enforcement agencies is something which is avoided by common people, but thanks to social media, some women are gathering courage for at least bringing these incidents into public.
Lahore is considered one of the safest cities for women in Pakistan but this lady underwent harassment while driving her car in the broad daylight. She narrated the whole incident on the social networking site Facebook with the photos of men who harassed her.

The best part is that she decided to speak up rather than just forgetting it as one more incident. When women will speak up and make these incidents public, then at least some of these hooligans will be afraid of doing such types of acts. There is a need to put an end to these incidents and highlighting them publicly may be the first step in this direction.
