Illicit affairs always lead to adverse results and the same happened with this lady who lost her 3-yr daughter whom her aunt murdered since she had a doubt that her sister-in-law (child’s mother) and her husband were in an illegitimate relationship.
22-yr Roshan Jahan of Delhi’s Mustafabad area has been taken into custody on the charges of smothering her nice and concealing her body in bed box.
As per cops, Roshan invited the victim to her home for juice and seeking the appropriate moment, she smothered her. However, she committed a blunder by concealing body in bed box and when decomposed, a stinking smell started filling the area which grabbed everyone’s attention to her house.
When her sister-in-law searched for Aisha, the victim, and asked Roshan, she said that she didn’t have any clue. An abduction case was lodged and just to mislead, Roshan also assisted in Aisha’s search.
Not only this, she even narrated a false story that she saw her moving to the market and Aisha probably was kidnapped from there. Besides, she blamed her sister-in-law of being careless too. Aisha’s posters had been put up in the local mosque so that any information about her can be obtained but all of no use.
The next day, neighbors complaint of stinking smell from the house of Roshan; however, she attempted to mislead people by saying that it’s a dead rat. Nevertheless, neighbors opened bed box as it went stronger and what they saw there was extremely shocking, body of the missing child.
In the words of DCP (northeast) Ajit Singla, “A team led by ACP Gokulpuri Dharam Dev arrested Jahan following which she confessed to having murdered the child.”
As Roshan told cops, she was determined for vengeance when she saw her husband with sister-in-law in a compromising position. Since they were in a close relation, people didn’t suspect her initially for killing Aisha.
When the horrific murder took place, Aisha’s parents were out for purchasing grocery and Roshan’s husband had been to Bijnor to attend a marriage ceremony. As per his claims, his wife and Aisha’s mother had frequently indulged in quarrelling.
