You Won’t Believe What Amount Anil Kumble & Manjrekar Are Paid For Cricket Commentary

Not only playing cricket brings a lot of money but also commentating about it can make you rich. Former cricketers who have turned cricket commentators are getting paid a good amount for their commentary services and this has been disclosed in the latest list of payments made by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) for the month of January.

Former Indian skipper Anil Kumble was paid Rs 39,10,500 and former Indian batsman Sanjay Manjrekar got approx. Rs 36,49,375 for the home series against South Africa which was played in Oct-Dec.

 

A payment of approx. Rs 11.6 crore has also been made to International Management Group (UK) LTD for the IPL which is going to be held in 2016 and it’s being made in two installments (Rs 5,80,09,500 and Rs 5,80,09,528). Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) has also been paid approx. Rs 2.02 crore in connection with the claim of Infrastructure subsidy for installing Solar Power Plant at Chinnaswamy Stadium.

An amount of Rs. 56.25 lakh was made to Meghalaya Cricket Association for annual infrastructure assistance (2012-13).
