You Won’t Believe What Korean Athletes Have To Go Through For Not Winning A Medal In Olympics

The North Korean players who have not won any medal in the Rio Olympics are going to be in a big trouble as the dictator Kim Jong has taken the decision to make them work in coal mines after they return to the country.

Not only this, ration cards of these players will also be forfeited and this is going to be a bigger problem for them. This is so because food items are only available on the ration shops in North Korea and without ration cards, these players won’t be able to make any purchase from the ration shops.

Not only the players who have lost in Rio Olympics but also their family members will suffer as Kim Jong will make them work in the coal mines as well. Kim is angry with the players as he had given the target of 5 gold medals to the players but they could get only 2 gold medals. One more reason for the wrath of Kim Jong is the better performance of South Korea in the Rio Olympics.

South Korea is the number one enemy of North Korea and South Korea’s medal tally of 21 medals (including 9 gold medals) has irked Kim to a great extent and on top of that, North Korea was able to win only 7 medals (including 2 gold medals).

Earlier we also informed you about an Olympian who was sad despite winning a gold medal.

Hong Un-jong, a North Korean gymnast has won a medal but still she is afraid of returning her home as she has taken a selfie with a player of South Korea which has gone viral now. It is being said that the dictator might be very angry with this and he may sentence death punishment to the gymnast for taking the selfie.

Keeping any type of communication with a person of South Korea is a crime in North Korea whether it is through phone, email or correspondence.

Earlier, in the 2010 Football World Cup, when the North Korean team lost to South Korean team, the football players were forced to work in coal mines and after that, they were left in the open cold atmosphere as punishment.

This is indeed frightening, isn’t it?

We are so terrified after merely knowing it; just imagine the condition of those players and their family members who have earlier suffered or are going to experience this torture just for not winning medals. It seems to be quite unfair to a great extent, doesn’t it?
