Here Are World’s Top 25 Universities For Getting A Job! Check Out Where Indian Institutes Stand

On Monday, announcement of 500 leading universities across the globe which nurture graduate employability was made by QS Quacquarelli Symonds. QS Graduate Employability Rankings measures the success rate of universities in terms of producing employable graduates as well as helping them get a lucrative job.

As per topuniversities.com, 5 indicators are taken into consideration for assessing the graduate employability ranking. They are – employer partnerships, employer reputation, graduate employment rate, alumni outcomes and employer-student connections.

In QS Graduate Employability Rankings 2018, Stanford University has emerged to be the best university. This is for the second consecutive year that the university has shown its excellence as far as graduate employability is concerned. Stanford University has attained the best score in 3 of the 5 indicators, i.e., alumni outcomes, employer partnerships and employer reputation.

As per topuniversities.com, 600 universities had been taken into account to include in the ranking this year and this number is just double from the last year. Out of them, 495 have been published.

Top 25 QS Graduate Employability Rankings 2018:

1. Stanford University, United States

5. Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), United States

6. University of Cambridge, United Kingdom

7. The University of Melbourne, Australia

9. University of California, Berkeley (UCB), United States

10. Tsinghua University, China

11. New York University (NYU), United States

12. Columbia University, United States

13. Princeton University, United States

14. The University of Tokyo, Japan

16. ETH Zurich – Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, Switzerland

17. UCL (University College London), United Kingdom

18. Cornell University, United States

18. Yale University, United States

20. The University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong

21. University of Chicago, United States

23. Peking University, China

Both Yale University and Cornell University have attained the 18th spot in the list.

Now if we take a look at where the Indian universities stand in this list, then as per QS Graduate Employability Rankings, the two IITs of India, i.e., IIT-Delhi and IIT-Mumbai, have come out as the strongest providers of the graduates who are highly employable while University of Delhi is the leader in giving highly successful alumni.
