The Worst Bollywood Sequels Ever Made!

The Worst Bollywood Sequels Ever Made! - RVCJ Media

Sequels are the trend this year in Bollywood with about 7 sequels this year itself. However, over the last few years, some sequels were made to relatively successful movies that were, horrifying and disappointing, to say the least. Here are 10 such movies that were not even close to being as good as their predecessors.

1. Hathyar:

Sequel to : Vaastav

What an amazing movie Vaastav was. And what an equally disappointing movie this was!

2. Sarkar Raj:

Sequel to : Sarkar

The Indian version of The Godfather, Sarkar was a runaway hit! AB and AB’s baby in great form! But Sarkar Raj let it down, big time!

3. Golmaal Returns:

Sequel to : Golmaal: Fun Unlimited

Golmaal returns was one of the weakest sequels ever. At least Rohit Shetty redeemed himself with a pretty funny Golmaal 3.

4. Bheja Fry 2:

Sequel to : Bheja Fry

Bheja Fry made Vinay Pathak an overnight star! When it’s sequel was announced, everyone was certain it would scale the same heights. But sadly, it was panned by everyone.

5. Jism 2:

Sequel to : Jism

Erotica was Jism’s selling point, and with the story it had, it gave John Abraham and Bipasha Basu a huge boost in their respective careers. Sadly, Jism 2 looked like it was made just for the sake of making a movie.

6. Double Dhamaal:

Sequel to : Dhamaal

Dhamaal was a laugh riot! The movie was a hit and Double Dhamaal was a huge flop! Forced comedy never works.

7. Satya 2:

Sequel to : Satya

Satya is regarded as one of the best movies of all time! And to ruin it with such a pathetic sequel is criminal! Way to go, Verma ji!

8. Phoonk 2:

Sequel to : Phoonk

As if the first one wasn’t bad enough. Varma ji strikes again!

9. Ragini MMS 2:

Sequel to : Ragini MMS

Ragini MMS was the Indian version of Paranormal Activity. Ragini MMS 2 seemed more like a sex comedy.

10. Housefull 2:

Sequel to : Housefull

No Sajid, just no.
