One such out of the ordinary incident that will pop your eyes out is the romantic tale of two friends who tied knot and the Internet got the masala news of a unique wedding.
A young man of 29, Ravi Arjun Das Hingorani, went through the process of sex change to marry his best friend Prem Kumar Chandaani on the Valentine’s Day. The marriage took place in a Hanuman Temple of Ahmedabad.
Ravi and Prem are childhood friends and neighbors. Last year, Ravi got his sex changed by spending a whopping sum of Rs. 5 lakh in Mumbai and then married his best friend Prem.
They were very close to each other and once, Ravi told Prem that he wanted to become a woman but if he did so, no one would marry him. At this, Prem assured Ravi of marrying him after the sex change and that was the very moment when Ravi made up mind of fulfilling his dream. The expense of the process was borne by both and after sex change, Ravi changed his name to Tia.
The duo wished to get wed on the day of love, i.e., Valentine’s Day and it was on Tuesday that they tied the ultimate knot after which no one can separate them.
The newlywed couple even adopted two kids! On the question of objection from anyone, Tia said that there’s no one in her family, while Prem’s family happily accepted her.
According to her, it needs courage for sex change and there might be many people in the society like her who want to do something different.
She added that moral courage is required to bring about a change and if you have courage, you’ll find a way out of every problem.
Well, at this point, we can only say, “where there’s a will, there’s a way!”
