A very strange fact has come to light with regard to a minister of Pakistan who was not actually a minister but instead, was just pretending to be one.
Shockingly, it took almost six years for the Federal Investigation Agency of Pakistan to nab a man who was falsely posing as Minister of Financial and Consumer Affairs for the last six years.
Name of this bluff master is Salamat Ali Chauhan and he is so good at what he does that he managed to make a fool of the PM as well as other ministers. He has been playing this game even before the new government was formed and has been working around smoothly with the ministers and officials.
Salamat Ali took the benefit of his position and took favors in form of bribes and used his influence for getting many works done. Not only this, he does have an office in Lahore with staff and just recently, he also sent a request to Lahore District Coordination Officer (DCO) for security and official cars.
Chauhan also set up a business of providing loans. Surprisingly, he has communicated with the Pakistani PM and the Ministry of Finance, requested them of their support and even expressed his desire to talk about the problem of unemployment in the nation.
Media has been told by the officials of FIA that Salamat and his activities are getting probed.
