WTF! People Are Burning & Dumping Sacks Full Of Rs 500 & 1000 Notes! View Pics!

Many people who possessed Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes were not willing to come forward or get the money deposited or exchanged in the banks.

This was because they were scared of the 2nd decision announced by the government. Yes, soon after this ban, Modi threw one more googly and said that if people have more than Rs 2.5 lakh Rs in their bank accounts and if they fail to show a proper proof of income, they will be questioned by the tax department and will have to pay a 200 percent penalty on the same.

Revenue Secretary Hasmukh Adia said that this would be treated as a tax evasion case and a hefty penalty would be applicable. This has left people thinking as to what has to be done with this excess cash. Neither can they deposit it in the banks and nor can they make use of these banned notes.

People have found one easy option i.e. “To burn the cash”. Yes, it is the quickest way of getting rid of it and this trend started in Uttar Pradesh’s Bareilly yesterday.

Yes burnt remnants of these currencies were found on Wednesday in Bareilly. This was dumped on Parsa Kheda road by workers of a company. Police stated that first the workers cut the currency, damaged it and then burnt it.

Another crazy idea!

Now, people are even coming up with ideas such as dumping sacks of money. A tweet has gone viral since yesterday, which shows that a sack filled with Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes has been dumped in Maharashtra’s Titwala region.
