The ICC ODI World Cup 2023 ended on a very disappointing note for the Indian cricket team and fans as India lost the finals to Australia which was played at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad on 19 November. What hurt more was the fact that the Indian cricket team dominated all the teams throughout the tournament and remained unbeaten till the final.
The Indian cricketer Virat Kohli played an important role in India’s journey as he scored 765 runs in the tournament which is the highest score by any batter till date in a single edition of the World Cup and his innings included 6 fifties and 3 centuries.
A cricket enthusiast named Ram Garapati took to X (formerly Twitter) and wrote about all the records that have been broken by Virat Kohli during the World Cup 2023. In a series of tweets, Ram Garapati listed the records made by the former Indian skipper including the record of most number of ODI centuries (50), most Man of the Series awards (21), most centuries in matches that team won (56), etc.

Virat Kohli is certainly an inspiration for the young cricketers and it would be very difficult for anyone to break the records that have been made by Virat Kohli.
