The ongoing war between Colors Channel and Kapil Sharma is something which everyone knows. Matters are worsening as ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ is leaving no stones unturned for giving stiff competition to ‘Comedy Nights’, a comedy show on Colors. Now again, Colors has a brilliant idea for competing against Kapil’s show.

According to reports, Colors has a new strategy. Now, the channel has taken the decision of extending ‘Naagin’, their highest TRP earner for 1 more month. This show starring Adaa Sharma, Arjun Bijlani and Mouni Roy was going to end somewhere around mid-May. Moreover, they had even wrapped up the shooting of their last episode in which the characters would die. Now, the ‘Naagin’ is being extended for 4 weeks so that the channel can compete with The Kapil Sharma Show, in terms of TRPs. Why only ‘Naagin’ and not some other show’?

Well, Kapil’s show got a rating of 3 while Naagin got a rating of 4.8 on the TRP chart. On the other hand, Comedy Nights got only 1.9 which is quite less as compared to Kapil’s show. So, if Naagin is wrapped up, there is no show that Colors has for competing with ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ in terms of TRPs. There are also chances of Naagin being extended till 9.15 (usual time- 8pm-9pm) so that viewers miss out the first 15 minutes of Kapil’s show.
