Demonetization has caused major concerns for those having weddings at home. The government has set a withdrawal limit of Rs 2.5 lakhs for weddings, but is it sufficient? Many people are cribbing about this because even Rs 2.5 lakhs is not able to meet their requirements properly. Some people have literally gone to the extent of taking loans, because they have no option left.
Amidst all this, we are wondering as to how high-profile weddings are being organized. Now, when we talk about lavish weddings, the first thing that comes to our mind is Yuvraj Singh & Hazel Keech’s wedding on 30th of November.
We can’t stop thinking how this cricketer would manage cash-crisis and manage it smoothly. Well, Yograj Singh has an answer to this; he says that the wedding is going to be reasonable and simple, without any sort of over spending. Hearing his views on wedding plans, you are surely going to respect him and will forget the fact that he had abused Dhoni!

Talking to Mid-Day, Yograj said
“Demonetisation has hit primarily those who have black money. It would’ve pinched us if we were doing something grand. We, as a family, have always believed in simplicity. In a country where a majority of the population lives in abject poverty, people should spend reasonably at weddings. It is better to make donations to charitable organisations on your wedding day, instead of wasting large amounts on lavish parties.”
Further, he stated that Yuvraj doesn’t favor “Fizool Kharch” and so, the wedding would have a small guest list i.e. just 60 of them, including his collegues from Indian cricket team, family members and close friends.
Yograj said
“We are holding the sangeet, mehendi and reception on the same day, followed by a gurudwara shaadi, after which we will take Hazel for ‘darshan’ of our guru Baba Deep Singh Ji.”
This is called simplicity & sensibility; the whole wedding can be managed well if money is spent wisely. Obviously, those who prefer rich weddings will definitely not agree to his thoughts.
