“You Ask Any Player Around The World, They Would Say PSL Is The Toughest,” Claims Mohd Rizwan

This is the era of T20 league franchise tournaments as almost every cricketing nation has their own league contests in which not just their players but overseas cricketers also participate. The Indian Premier League was the first big league tournament which started in 2008 and since then, we have witnessed some great matches and have seen almost all the big cricketers of the world taking part in it as well.

The Pakistan Cricket Board started its T20 league called the Pakistan Super League in 2016 and it is way behind IPL in terms of everything, whether it is number of matches or teams, prize money, the remuneration of players and so on but people from the Pakistani cricket fraternity leave no chance of proving that PSL is bigger and better than IPL.

Recently, the Pakistani cricketer Mohammad Rizwan made a statement regarding PSL and IPL just ahead of the draft for the eighth edition of PSL which took place on Thursday. Pakistani wicketkeeper-batter who is currently the skipper of Multan Sultans has also attended the event and while talking to the journalists, he states that PSL has left the whole world stunned as earlier people were saying that PSL would not be successful but even the players have seen that the T20 league is a success.

Talking further, Mohammad Rizwan says that though IPL is there but if you ask any player of the world who has taken part in PSL, he will say that PSL is the toughest in the world. Rizwan further adds that the Pakistani team is getting good backup players and a lot of credit goes to PSL for this.
