A couple of days ago, we told you about a bizarre incident took place in Hyderabad where a guy of around 30 was accused of stealing a really expensive bike worth INR 5.7 lacs from the Banjara Hills area of the city. Yes, you guessed it right, we are talking about Harley Davidson showroom from where the bike has allegedly been stolen on a “test ride” pretext. Subsequent to complaint, cop filed the case under IPC Sections 379 and 420 for theft and cheating respectively.

Now police has identified the thief of 750 cc Harley Davidson — Street 750 model bike who filled his name as Tahir Ali in the test drive proforma. His real name is Turlapati Kiran, a 27-year IIT-Madras graduate who is working with ONGC on the designation of an executive engineer. Turlapati Prakash, his father, has been former junior commissioned officer and also worked in the city as an SPO. When it was discovered that the man who rode off bike moved to Mumbai, special teams attained details with regard to the thief’s identification.

On Thursday, cop detained Turlapati Prakash and special teams are reported to nab Kiran as well as bringing him and Harley Davidson to Hyderabad.
