Actor Gajendra Chauhan received a lot of flak from the students of Film & Television Institute of India (FTII) after he was announced the new chairman of the institute last year. What’s more, many agitations and protests were conducted in order to revoke his appointment. However, that didn’t change the decision of the government and as we can see, the present chairman of FTII is Gajendra Chauhan.
After getting appointed as FTII chairman, he said, “I have experience of 34 years in the industry. I would like to share that for the better.” Well, in the minds of TV viewers, he is settled as the Yudhisthira of B. R. Chopra’s “Mahabharata” and nobody really remembers his other accomplishments and what he has done in those 34 years.
He has been a part of many Bollywood movies but nothing as big or effective as to talk about it.
