Recently, Nawaz Sharif, the Prime Minister of Pakistan had passed some provocative statements and had praised Burhan Wani, the Commander of Hizbul Mujahideen (Banned terrorist group in Pakistan). Reportedly, the PM termed Burhan Wani as ‘Martyr’. He also passed a statement that ‘Kashmir will one day become Pakistan’. In response to all this, Sushma Swaraj, the External Affairs Minister has perfectly given it back to him.
Condemning these statements strongly, Sushma Swaraj said that before terming Burhan Wani as ‘Martyr’, the PM must know that he was a ‘Wanted Terrorist’ carrying a Rs 10 lakh award since he had committed many crimes such as murdering security personnel of local bodies as well as elected representatives.
Talking about Nawaz Sharif’s dream of Kashmir becoming Pakistan, she said that the dream would never be fulfilled at all. Sushwa Swaraj termed this dream as ‘Dangerous’ and ‘Delusional’ and said that it was the main reason for rising terrorism in Pakistan.
The External Affairs minister said “The whole of Jammu and Kashmir belongs to India. You will never be able to make this heaven on earth a terror hell,”.
She added
“Even more condemnable than these deplorable attempts from across our border to incite violence and glorify terrorists is the fact that these attempts have been undertaken by Pakistan’s state machinery in active partnership with UN-designated terrorist Hafiz Saeed and other leading terrorists belonging to internationally proscribed organisations,”
