2018 has been a better year for Bollywood if we count good and Hit films. After a long dry period finally, Bollywood managed to make films that were both commercially and critically viable. Films like Padmaavat, Pad Man, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, Parmanu, Raazi and many more got praised at Box Office and critics also liked them.
However, there were some star performances which were not at a par that was expected. There were many stars who gave weak performances and there were also many who gave good performances but better was expected from them.

1. Shahid Kapoor- Padmaavat
Shahid Kapoor gave a good performance in Padmaavat but it was way below the mark that he has set with films like Haider, Rangoon, Kaminey and others.
2. Sidharth Malhotra – Aiyaary
Sidharth Malhotra is a handsome guy but has not been able to prove himself as an actor yet. His latest release Aiyaary was another disappointment. Not just his performance was criticised but the film was also a Box Office failure.
3.Sonakshi Sinha – Welcome To New York
Sonakshi Sinha is going through a rough spell at Box Office. Her performance in Welcome To New York was dull and the film was also a failure.
4. Harshvardhan Kapoor – Bhavesh Joshi Superhero
Harshvardhan Kapoor was a let down in his second film Bhavesh Joshi Superhero. Despite being the son of very talented Anil Kapoor, he couldn’t prove his mettle this time again.
5. Abhay Deol – Nanu Ki Jaanu
Abhay Deol is a fantastic actor and his great filmography is the proof. However, his latest release Nanu Ki Jaanu couldn’t bring him in front of the audience as a great actor.
6. Urvashi Rautela – Hate Story 4
She was simply forgettable in the film.
7. Diljit Dosanjh – Welcome To New York
Diljit Dosanjh also disappointed this year with his performance in WTNY. However, he is expected to bounce back with upcoming film Soorma.
8. Tiger Shroff – Baaghi 2
Tiger Shroff has improved as an actor and was better in Baaghi 2. But he still needs to go a long way.
9. Saif Ali Khan – Kaalakaandi
Saif Ali Khan gave yet another forgettable performance in Kaalakaandi.
10. Sonam Kapoor – Pad Man
Sonam Kapoor gave a decent performance in Pad Man but she was surely the weak link as she was not that good in some portions.
