Brock Lesnar has been a trending topic lately, first for his surprising return at UFC 200 where he scored a victory over Mark Hunt by unanimous decision (29-27) in a heavyweight fight. And later when Brock Lesnar was notified of a potential anti-doping policy violation by the USADA stemming from an undisclosed banned substance in a June 28 drug test. Although Brock has been tested negative in the previous multiple tests, he came clean. Brock Lesnar responded to the allegation in an interview where he told the Associated Press “”We will get to the bottom of this”. Brock Lesnar is currently under the contract of WWE, he almost closed the gates to MMA, but WWE granted him an opportunity to square-off one more time at UFC 200. Brock Lesnar is expected to face Randy Orton at SummerSlam 2016.

1. Brock Lesnar was a college wrestling monster before the WWE.

He was a two-time NJCAA All-American champion, the 1998 NJCAA Heavyweight Champion, two-time NCAA All-American, two-time Big-Ten Conference Champion, and the 2000 NCAA Heavyweight Champion, with a record of 106–5 overall in four years of college.

2. He was the ‘Next Big Thing’.

Brock Lesnar became the WWE champion by defeating The Rock. He holds the record of becoming the youngest WWE champion at an age of 25. He also won King of The Ring tournament in 2002 which allowed him to earn a title shot at SummerSlam 2002.

3. Brock Lesnar almost broke his neck at Wrestlemania XIX.

The main event of Wrestlemania 19 was the title match between Kurt Angle and Brock Lesnar. Brock botched a shooting-star press which could have broken his neck. Lesnar was later diagnosed with a legitimate concussion.

4. Brock Lesnar has also wrestled in New Japan Pro Wrestling.

Brock Lesnar wrestled against Goldberg at Wrestlemania 20 which would mark the end of his first run with the WWE. He would go on to become the IWGP Heavyweight Champion in 2005 in his debut match. Being the IWGP Champion is something that only a few American wrestlers have done. He would lose the title to Kurt Angle in 2007.

6. Enter the UFC.

Brock Lesnar signed with UFC in 2007. He defeated the UFC Hall of Famer Randy Couture for the UFC Heavyweight Championship by TKO. He successfully defended the title against Frank Mir at UFC 100, defeated Shane Carwin at UFC 116 to become the Undisputed UFC Heavyweight Champion. After his struggles with diverticulitis he retired from UFC. He returned to UFC 200 in 2016 where he defeated Mark Hunt which brought him back in the top 10 Heavyweight rankings.

7. The Beast returns.

Brock Lesnar made his long-awaited return to WWE on April 2, 2012. The crowd went crazy as it was completely unexpected, Brock Lesnar interrupted John Cena’s promo, came out to a loud cheer and then F-5ed John Cena. His 2012 contract was to the tune of $5 million which says he would make roughly two appearances per month over the course of the next year.

Lesnar married Rena Greek, better known as Sable, they have a 10-year age difference. However WWE never mentioned their relationship. Sable, who was a former WWE diva quit the wrestling world to spend more time with Brock in 2004. The couple has two sons together, however Lesnar had two children from his former fiance. Sable, meanwhile had a daughter with her first husband.
