“Baahubali 2: The Conclusion” has broken all the records on box-office, which seems quite obvious considering the fact that the first part of the franchisee also witnessed record-breaking success. The movie made a grand opening and raked nearly Rs. 115 crore. Even more surprisingly, it surpassed Fast and Furious 8 in USA in terms of paid premieres.
Fans of Baahubali are now feeling satisfied and happy, as they have finally got the answer of the question which has been troubling them for a long time now and we actually don’t need to mention what the question is! Yes, you guessed it right; it’s “Why Kattapa Killed Baahubali?”
For those who have the mindset of KRK, the self-proclaimed number one critic, and think that Baahubali is just hype and no substance, we have some astonishing facts about the film, which may shock you to the core!
1) Four climax sequences of the movie had been shot by director SS Rajamouli. He was compelled to do this because some scenes of the flick got leaked online; hence, he thought of shooting four climax scenes as a backup plan.
2) This is for the first time that any movie has been released in 4K High Definition format.
3) The climax of “Baahubali 2: The Conclusion” has cost more than Rs. 30 crores, which is double of what was spent on the climax of “Baahubali: The Beginning”.
4) Prabhas has given almost 5 years of his career to Baahubali, as he didn’t take up any other project and devoted himself completely to the venture.
5) Proper attention was given on the female characters as well; nearly 1500 pieces of jewellery were made for the female characters of Baahubali, which made them look more beautiful and classy.
6) Even before the release of the movie, it earned Rs. 500 crore from satellite, music and theatrical rights.
7) Not only Prabhas and Rana lost and gained weight as per the demand of the movie, Anushka also shed around 20 kilos for Baahubali. For this purpose, she joined a weight-loss program in the US.
8) As per reports, one million tickets of “Baahubali 2: The Conclusion” were sold in just 24 hours of the start of advance booking. BookMyShow claimed that 12 tickets were sold every second before the film hit the theatres.
9) A “Baahubali Thali” has been introduced by Rajwadu Hotel in Ahmedabad, as the owners of the hotel, Rajesh Patel and Manish Patel, wanted to pay a tribute to the flick and its team.
10) TV actor Sharad Kelkar has given his voice for the lead character in the Hindi version of Baahubali.
