1. Manali

Nestled in the Himachals, Manali is a picturesque place whose beauty shall leave you in awe. Go there to take a look at the Hidumba Devi temple, the Pandoh Dam, the Rohtang pass and the Solang Valley. It’s pretty chilly out there so I’d recommend you carry an extra jacket.


2. Kerala- Munnar

Situated at the confluence of three rivers in God’s own country, Kerala, Munnar is one of the most visited hill stations in South India. The place is filled with tea plantations. Don’t miss out on taking a look at Anamudi, Devikulam, Mattupetty Dam and the Eravikulam national park when you go there!


3. Kodaikanal – Tamil Nadu

Another renowned hill station in the South, Kodai is a beautiful place located near the Western Chats, about 7,200 feet above sea level. Located in Dindigul district in Tamil Nadu, Kodai is also known for the psychedelic drugs you get there. Do visit Kodaikanal lake, Berijam lake, Palni hills and the Bear Shola falls once you get there.


4. Andaman and Nicobar islands

Andaman is an archipelago of 572 islands out of which 34 are inhabited. The city is filled with exotic islands.
The place is perfect for de-stressing. Also, Neil Island conducts Scuba diving and snorkeling so you can enjoy adventure sports. Do visit Ross island, Viper island and Mt Harriet when you’re there.



5. Jim Corbett National Park – Uttarakhand

This one is for the adventure lovers. Trekking, Hiking, Jeep safari and spotting the Royal Bengal Tiger, Corbett National Park has it all. It is the oldest national park in India established in 1936. Do visit the Kalagarh dam and Corbett falls when you are there.


6.Gangtok – Sikkim

Gangtok is a municipality, the capital and the largest town of Sikkim. Gangtok is located in the eastern Himalayan range, at an elevation of 1,650 m. You must, must visit the Nathu La pass, Rumtek Monastery, Hanuman Tok and the Pemayan Monastery if you go there. The serenity of the place will amaze you.


7. Rishikesh

Located in Dehradun district in Uttarakhand, Rishikesh is the hub of adventure sports in India.From rappelling to river crossing to rock climbing, it has everything! Also the location is picturesque and you will enjoy the atmosphere. You must visit Laxman Jhula, Ram Jhula, and Triveni ghat when you get there.


8. Kashmir

Where beauty knows no bounds, where heart knows no worries, Kashmir, the name says it all. The land where every step makes you feel closer to heaven. The smell of pure air enticing the spirit, gives you a magical effect. The snow filled mountains, the splendid Dal lake, the apple orchids, the sweet smell of saffron, the hospitality of the civilians, every experience is a moment to cherish. 9. Sundarbans – West Bengal

The largest forest mangrove in the world, the Sundarbans is a beautiful place which is the largest reserve for the Royal Bengal Tiger. So if you’re lucky, you will spot one. The flora and fauna here will amaze you. From the Chital deer to the Sundari tree, every view you get here is breathtaking.


10. Goa

Because which other place could be in this list? The party hub of india! Calangute and Baga beach, innumerable churches, unlimited pubs! Goa is the place to be during new year’s with so many music festivals happening there. You must have been here.
