She was a microbiologist who fight for the pasteurization of milk, thus saving countless lives.

2. The Gulabi Gang

This Gang is a group of female Indian vigilantes, who all wear a pink sari. The group fights against child marriages, the dowry system, abusive husbands and female illiteracy.

3. Dashrath Manjhi


He is from INDIA . He was an outcast, a landless labourer . He is the man who moved a mountain, so that his people could reach a doctor in time. He does so because she is not able to see the doctor due to this mountain.

4. Dr Megan Coffee

A specialist in infectious diseases, Dr Coffee has been working in Haiti since the earthquake in 2010. She still works there, without pay, taking public transport to work, treating patients .

5. Gunner the dog
