1. Can you believe this is the railway station of Haridwar? In the present time, there is so much rush at the Haridwar railway station that it is difficult to even walk there but in 1930s, it was peaceful and hassle-free.
2. In 1930s, Humayun’s tomb looked like an isolated place with no public, no photographers.

8. It’s shocking to see that getting petrol filled was so easy in 1910 and less time consuming.
9. Since 1974, the most used transport medium of Mumbai was horse drawn tram cars.
10. Rains in Mumbai didn’t cause so much havoc in 1940s as they do today.
11. Walking without getting pushed in Chandni Chowk is impossible in today’s time but till the 1970s tongas were the main medium of transportation.
12. In 1800s, the Napier bridge of Madras looked like an isolated place.
13. Even the well supported salt march procession is no competition to the peak hour traffic of today.
