13 Things That Cartoon Network Has Taught Us About Life

Cartoon Network, it was more than just a TV channel for us. It meant life for every kid back in the 90’s. We would spend our all day in front of the TV watching shows like Tom And Jerry, Scooby-Doo, Swat Kats and more. We would wake up early and sleep late so that we won’t miss any episode of our favorite show. These cartoons were special for so many reasons because they taught us how to dream, they taught us to have a faith in ourselves, they taught us to stand for ourselves, and most importantly they made our childhood awesome. Gone is the era of those cartoons and Cartoon Network. But still the memories remain vivid. Cartoon Network was a familiar name in the early 90’s for the Hanna-Barbera cartoons and The Looney Tunes. But it wasn’t until the late 90’s when Cartoon Network aired some of the all time best cartoons like Ed, Edd n Eddy, Dexter’s Laboratory, Johnny Bravo, Courage the Cowardly Dog. Sadly after 2004 Cartoon Network went downhill. They cancelled the old shows and came up with the ones that aimed at the audience below 11, with nothing for viewers older than 11.

So here are the important lessons that Cartoon Network has taught us about life.

1. Life moves pretty fast so instead of trying to win the race, we should enjoy the race while it lasts. Slow down and take a look around. Stay cool and don’t sweat it.

4. Happiness doesn’t come from materialistic stuff. We can still be happy without the social networking sites, PS-4 or the iPhone. Life can still be full of fun without technology.

6. Courage isn’t the absence of fear, but the realization that something else is more important than fear. Don’t let your fears stop you!

7. On the path to success you are going to encounter failure several times. Just keep moving forward, don’t stop and never ever give up.

8. The real monsters are inside of us, not under our bed. We all put on a mask everyday to hide our emotions and to hide ourselves.

9. Stop worrying about what others think of you. But when it’s the showtime, be the badass, unleash yourself.

10. Stop comparing yourselves with others. Everyone is unique and has different talents. After all it’s the differences that make us special and beautiful.

The Powerpuff Girls

11. Passion gives life a purpose. Without a true passion our soul can’t grow. So just do whatever you love and you’ll always find happiness.

Dexter's Laboratory

12. Size doesn’t matter, but your attitude does. If a small Jerry can defeat a big cat like Tom then just wonder what we can achieve in our lives. And always learn from your mistakes in life.

13. Always believe in yourself. Don’t seek others’ approval. A rejection doesn’t define who you are, it just indicates that you deserve someone or something better. Shine in your awesomeness.
