After 17 Yrs, India Wins Miss World 2017. Meet 20 Yr Old Manushi Chhillar.

It’s a dream for every beautiful girl to become Miss India, or Miss World, however, it all depends on luck. Today, it’s a proud moment for India, as Manushi Chhillar has bagged the title of Miss World 2017. Yes, she is beauty with brains & no one could stop her from being crowned.

Manushi is the 6th Indian to get the title. 17 years back i.e. in 2000, it was Priyanka Chopra who was crowned Miss World. It’s great to know that 20 year old Manushi Chhillar (A model from Haryana) has brought that pride back to India after 17 years. 1st runner up is Miss England Stephanie Hill, while second runner up is Miss Mexico Andrea Meza.

She is a medical student and was extremely overjoyed when judges announced her name as Miss World. Well, she floored them with her beauty and wit. When judges asked her which profession deserves highest salary, she said,

“My mother has been my biggest inspiration, so I have to say, a mother’s job. It is not always about cash, but love and respect as well. A mother deserves that the most.”
