If you are determined to achieve your goal, there is nothing in this world which can stop you and this statement fits perfectly on a young boy from Ranchi named Tushar Rishi.

This youngster of 19 has performed very well in the CBSE Board Exams and attained 95%, scoring 95 in physics, 93 in mathematics, 95 in English, 100 in fine arts and 89 in computer. But what makes his achievement more special is that he has attained these marks without any coaching and despite being suffering from bone cancer.

“I am in a much better condition now after all the treatments, but I have to visit AIIMS in every 3 to 4 months for checkups and updates on my health.”

Tushar was just about to appear for his board examinations of class 10th after taking the mock tests when bone cancer was diagnosed. For 11 months, he had chemo therapy. In his words,

“The bone cancer was detected just after my Class 10 mock exams in 2014. I was under chemotherapy for around 11 months. It has obviously changed me a lot, but I try and stay focused on my academics.”

He wasn’t able to appear for exams that year but he scored 10 CGPA in 2015 when he took exams. He also wrote a book in which he narrated his journey after he was diagnosed with the disease and how he managed to remain positive.
