A 90 year old woman was so brutally beaten by her 22 year old grandson with a wooden slab, that she died. Actually, his grandmother just committed a small mistake of dropping her grandson’s newly purchased phone accidentally. As soon as she dropped his phone, he became wild with anger and attacked his grandmother.
Shivraj (22), a resident of Bansankari, had left his phone for charging. Owing to weak eyesight, his grandmother couldn’t see the phone and accidentally dashed against it. The phone fell down and the screen broke into several pieces.
As soon as Shivraj heard some voice coming from the other room, he immediately rushed there, only to see his phone broken. He immediately picked up a wooden slab and attacked on the neck of Lakshamma (his grandmother). Crying in pain, she fell down on the floor. Other family members scolded Shivraj and took the grandmother to another room.
Tuesday morning, when the family tried waking up Lakshamma, she didn’t wake up. The doctors declared her as dead. The body has been sent for postmortem by Bansankari police and Shivraj has been arrested.
