If you are active on social media, you might have read about this Mumbai guy Paramjeet Kohli gone missing.
The 24-year-old was missing since a few days after his ex-girlfriend got engaged to someone else.
In a recent turn of events, Pawan was found dead by the police near Bandra-Worli sea link at 3 AM on Sunday.
According to Khar police, Kohli told his friends, with whom he spent the entire evening drinking, that he was depressed after his ex-girlfriend got engaged to another man.
As per a police statement,
“Kohli’s friends told us that as he was drunk and depressed, they dropped him at his doorstep. But Kohli left home in a few minutes,”
When Pawan didn’t return home, his worried father Jaspal approached the police.
When police started the investigation and scanned the CCTV footage of his area, they realised that Kohli hired a taxi from his house and left for the sea link.
He got off on the Worli side of the bridge.
The police then traced the taxi driver and he told them that man asked him to drop him in the middle of the bridge as he wanted to vomit.
The police have filed an accidental death case and are checking if Kohli committed suicide or fell into the sea when he bent to vomit.
