Woah!! The movie showed a slight growth on Saturday, with the collections being 5.30 crores. Now, with such numbers, the total of the movie has reached 10.45 crores, which is not that good! Since ‘Akira’ has no competitor, it was expected that movie will do a good job over the weekend, but nothing can be predicted as of now.
Everyone expected that this female-centric film would do wonders at the Box Office, but unfortunately, it couldn’t gather positive response from audience and critics. Moreover, it was ‘Bharat Bandh’ on the 1st day i.e. 2nd of September and may be due to this, the numbers were poor.
However, in spite of poor collections, ‘Akira’ could beat Mardaani, which collected Rs 3.46 crores and NH10 which collected Rs 3.35 crores on the opening day.
1st day collections- 5.15 crores!
2nd day collections – 5.30 crores!
Total – 10.45 crores!
So what do you think guys? Would the movie perform well on Sunday? Do let us know your thoughts in our comments section below.
