3 Cattle Traders Killed By Crowd As Villagers Mistook Them For Child-Lifters! Disgusting!

Cattle traders are being targeted constantly from the past few months, especially if they are Muslims. And now once again, there are reports that on Thursday, three cattle traders got killed by a crowd near Daru village, Jamshedpur.

However, the police denied any communal angle in this incident and said that the crowd killed those three after mistaking them for child-lifters.

Four cattle traders were going towards Rajnagar for purchasing cattle in the Seraikela-Kharsawan district so that they could sell those animals in their village Haldipokha in the weekly market.

Almost 100 people ran after the car in which Sheikh Sajju (25), Sheikh Siraj (26), Sheikh Halim (28) and Sheikh Naim (35) were travelling. They stopped the car at Daru village and thrashed Sheikh Naim badly; however, the other three managed to save their lives by running away. Police admitted Sheikh Naim in the Seraikela subdivisional hospital but he could not be saved.

Cops told that others had also been killed due to suspicion of child-lifting. Prabhat Kumar, DIG Police, said, “There is no communal aspect.”

The car in which these four were travelling was also burnt by the crowd. Sheikh Sajju and Sheikh Siraj took refuge in Shosomauli village and a person named Sunil Mahto helped them in this regard. The mob lynched them too after they reached the Muslim-majority village Shobhapur. The crowd also attacked an assistant sub-inspector as well as a constable and burnt their jeep too.

This is ridiculous to take an action without proper investigation.
