3rd Day Collections Of “M.S Dhoni: The Untold Story” Are Out! The Movie Is Unstoppable!

“M.S Dhoni: The Untold Story” has been the most eagerly awaited movie of 2016 and finally after it hit the screens on 30th of September, it is enjoying an amazing response. Its stupendous collections are a proof of how successfully the flick is running. Dhoni enjoys a good fan following and this was one of the major reasons for the movie becoming a super-duper hit.


Not only is his cricketing journey shown in this, but makers have even shed light on his love life, which audience was curious to know. It has already become the 2nd highest opener of 2016 with 21.30 crores on the first day. Second day collections dropped a bit but were still good. Let us see what the 3rd day i.e. Sunday collections have to say;

On the 3rd day, the movie earned a whopping 24.10 crores, bringing the total to 66 crores, which is fantastic. Sunday collections showed a drastic improvement because of strong word of mouth on Saturday. Moreover, being a weekend, the collections were bound to improve. With 66 crores, the movie has secured the 3rd place in the list of top 5 movies of 2016, having the highest opening weekend collections.


In case you don’t remember, let us remind you that Sultan had got a 5 day weekend, Rustom had got a 4 day weekend while Dhoni’s biopic got just a 3 day weekend, so considering the number of days, its collections definitely good and are even better than that of Rustom.

If this pace continues, the movie would very soon enter the 100 crore club, don’t you think so?

Day 1- 21.30 crores!

Day 2- 20.60 crores!

Day 3- 24.10 crores!

Total – 66 crores!
