Gold and Satyameva Jayate had a wonderful run on the 1st day. They earned a total of 45 crores on Wednesday i.e. on the eve of Independence day. Unfortunately, the collections dropped down too much on the 2nd day.
On Thursday, the films couldn’t even garner a total figure of 16 crores. Although Gold stars Akshay in the lead, the collections seem disappointing. However, the drop might be due to working day and we have high hopes on the weekend.
The 3rd day collections are out and as per Box Office India, they have slightly increased.
Gold collections!
We had high expectations from Gold, mainly due to Akshay Kumar’s fabulous acting. Sadly, luck has not favored the movie and it earned just 10 crores on the 3rd day. A 25 percent increase was noticed, which is a good thing considering it was a working day. The total now stands at 43.25 crores.
Satyameva Jayate collections!
Not much of a difference is there between 2nd and 3rd day figures of Satyameva Jayate. The film earned same 7.5 crores on the 3rd day. With this, the total now stands at 33.50 crores, which is slightly less.
