When Bhumi Pednekar made her debut in bollywood with Dum Laga Ke Haisha, she was totally different from the heroines that we usually have in our movies. She was quite healthy, in fact, it won’t be wrong to call her fat at that time but her superb performance in the movie won everybody’s heart. Yash Raj Films intentionally kept her in the closet till the movie was released as it was done to surprise the audience and their plan worked perfectly.
Dum Laga Ke Haisha was the story of a couple who found their soul mate in each other after facing lots of ups and downs in their lives. The role of husband was played by actor Ayushmann Khurrana who also won accolades for his performance in the movie.
Bhumi did make an appearance after the release of the movie and she was a completely changed girl. She was slimmer and it was impossible to believe that she is the same girl whom we have seen in the movie.
