Talking about last year, the total advance tax of 8 celebrities amounted Rs 153.16 crores. However, this year’s total is Rs 147.85 crores. These 8 celebrities include Priyanka Chopra, Ajay Devgn, Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan.
Highest advance tax payer!
Salman Khan gave 2 back to back hits (Bajrangi Bhaijaan & Prem Ratan Dhan Payo) and paid he highest advance tax beating Akshay, SRK and others stars. This year, he paid Rs 32 crores as advance tax as opposed to 26 crores, which he paid last year.

Last year, Akshay gave 4 big releases and Rs. 30 Crore advance tax. This year, his earnings have been dropped and he has paid Rs 23 Crores as Advance tax.
The 3rd highest payer is Ranbir Kapoor, with 22.3 crores, as opposed to 19.7 crores last year.

SRK who is the most popular actor in Bollywood is on the 4th position and has paid advance tax of Rs 20 crores. Interestingly, last year, SRK topped the list with 32 crores. Aamir didn’t have any relief and paid 19.6 crores advance tax. Last year, he had paid 15.8 crores. Megastar Amitabh Bachchan paid Rs.17.5 crores advance tax as opposed to 29.2 crores last year. The Singham isn’t left behind. Ajay paid 5 crores this year as well as last year. Priyanka Chopra is the last celebrity in this list. She paid 1.45 crores advance tax this year and 2.46 crores last year.
