We all are very familiar with this name. He is widely hated amongst us Indians. Here are a few things more about the terrorist.
1. Hafiz saeed who is the founder of organisations like- Lashkar-e-taibba and Jamat-ud-dawah which are responsible for spreading terrorism in India, lives and roams around freely in Pakistan.
2. After Shah Rukh Khan’s article was published in Outlook turning points, the fanatic saeed asked SRK to move to Pakistan if he feels insecure there. SRK responded that advice from across the border was not asked for and not required.
3. His father was an Islamic teacher and a farmer and mother ran a religious school for children.

4. He was put on house arrest at various times, but in 2009 Lahore high court withdrew all charges from him and set him free.
5. LeT which was officially declared a terrorist organization in 2001. It was the militant wing of Jamad-ud’dawah wal-irshad and was formed by Saeed when militants started moving from Afghanistan to Kashnir.
6. The ISI deployed Hafiz Saeed as proxy force against India, specially for Kashmir.

7. Abu Jundal’s arrest in 2012 revealed that a Pakistan- supported control room where Saeed was present during 26/11 attacks.
8. In 2012, US announced $10 million reward for giving information leading to the capture of Mumbai attack mastermind that killed 166 people. He appeared live on several TV channels, calling America’s action a ‘foolish step’.
9. He often hold rallies in which he openly spews venom full of lies, and demands jihad against India and Israel ‘ideologies’.
