Fans are eagerly waiting for the release of Hrithik Roshan and Pooja Hegde starrer ‘Mohenjo Daro’. The movie has a historical background and depicts the era of Indus Valley Civilization. Now, since Hrithik is a big star and since the movie is under a big banner, people have high expectations from it. This is but obvious!
However, one main reason why ‘Mohenjo Daro’ is constantly being talked about is because it is clashing with another biggie i.e. Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Rustom’. Everyone is pretty curious as to which movie would mint more money at the Box Office. Some say Mohenjo Daro’s concept would win while some others think Akshay Kumar’s popularity would make ‘Rustom’ lead the race.

Now, according to reports, ‘Mohenjo Daro’ has garnered a whopping 60 crores before the release itself from music and theatrical rights. Out of those 60 crores, 45 crores have been earned through satellite rights and other 15 crores have been garnered through music rights.
These collections have helped the movie cover up almost half its’ budget. Yes, around 100 crores were spent on the making of the movie and 20 crores were spent on advertising. Out of 120 crores, 60 crores have already been recovered which is an amazing thing, isn’t it? As of now the figures of ‘Rustom’ haven’t been revealed. So till the time the figures are out, ‘Mohenjo Daro’ gets the pleasure of leading.
