But wait, as per the Certification Board, Akshay shouldn’t use abusive language for his wife Cynthia, in this movie, even though she cheated on him. There were 2 abuses in the movie ‘b***h’ and ‘b*****d’, which the board believed should not be included! Want to know why CBFC felt so? Well, it is due to Akshay Kumar’s decent reputation in the industry.

Yes, CBFC chopped off the abusive language from the movie considering Akshay Kumar’s character. According to reports, it is said that ‘Rustom’ has got a clearance from the board with ‘U/A’ certificate and there are just 2 cuts i.e ‘b***h’ and ‘b*****d’, which are counted among mild English abuses.

Reports quoted a source saying

“Rustom has been cleared with no visual cuts only name-calling expletives. Because the film stars Akshay Kumar the cuss words have been ordered out. He has the image of a clean decent man who respects all human beings, male or female. Unke mooh se gaali achcha nahin lagta (abuses don’t sound nice from him),”

So what do you feel guys? Is the reason given by CBFC valid? Do let us know your comments in our comments section below.
