It seems audience has just loved the way Akshay Kumar portrays Rustom Pavri in the film and the awesome 4 day collections of ‘Rustom’ were a proof of it. On Monday, the total of the movie stood at 68.23 crores, beating ‘Mohenjo Daro’ once again by a big margin.
On the other hand, makers of ‘Mohenjo Daro’ are repenting their decision of clashing with the Khiladi at the box office. The collections have been miserable and in 4 days the movie could garner just 40.90 crores.
Now the 5th day collections are out, let us see how both the flicks have performed.
‘Mohenjo Daro’ is gone!
On the 5th day, there was a drastic drop in the collections of ‘Mohenjo Daro’. On Tuesday, the movie could collect just 5 crores, which means a 50 percent drop from Monday (10.36 crores). No one expected that the collections would be so poor and disappointing. The total of the movie has reached 45.90 crores now.

Even the collections of ‘Rustom’ have dropped from 18 crores to 7.67 crores, but being a weekday, these collections aren’t bad. With this, the total of the Akshay Kumar starrer has reached 75.90 crores and it is all set to enter the 100 crore club now.
If such numbers continue, very soon, it would beat the lifetime collections of ‘FAN’ that is 84.10 crores. It has already beaten other highest grossing movies of 2016 like ‘Neerja’, ‘Kapoor and Sons’ and ‘Baaghi’. Let us see what happens! Here’re highest grossing movies list of 2016:-
