Ranbir Kapoor is no doubt a very good actor in Bollywood, but we can’t forget how some of his movies failed miserably at the Box Office.
Have you ever thought as to why Ranbir fails, in spite of his good looks and good acting skills? Well, Anurag Kashyap, the famous director tells us the reason why he fails; don’t you want to know?
Well, it is Anurag himself who is responsible for the failure of Ranbir in Bollywood. Yes, you heard it right; Anurag confessed this too! The duo had worked together in ‘Besharam’ and ‘Bombay Velvet’, which witnessed very poor collections.
Talking about this, Anurag says
“I think we, as a team, have let him down in many ways. Ranbir is a fantastic artist, a brilliant human being and an actor who wanted to try out something different. He wanted to experiment which not many stars would want to do. And we failed him terribly. I feel completely responsible for this,”
He further adds that
“Not just him, now when I hear studios shutting, I somewhere feel that I am definitely one of the reasons behind it. When the stories come up and there’s Bombay Velvet’s poster right at the top of the article, it does hurt,”
However, Anurag says that even though the movies have failed badly at the Box Office, their relation is not affected at all. Both are seeking a chance now to work together once again.
