Emraan Hashmi has always been famous for his kisses in B-Town. Yes, aptly termed as ‘Serial Kisser’ Emraan keeps getting many movie offers and recently too he was offered a movie opposite Alia Bhatt. But unfortunately, he refused the same; do you want to know why? Don’t think that things aren’t good between Alia and Emraan, as the reason is very different.
Well, the reason is that the movie was a romcom and Emraan wasn’t interested in playing a romantic character against Alia Bhatt, isn’t it surprising?
If you don’t know let us tell you that Emraan and Alia are cousins and if they would have paired up for this romcom, it would have been quite awkward for the duo, isn’t it?
Further, reports also add that not only did Emraan refuse this role, but he was pretty upset with the maker, as to how could he bring up such an idea.
In an interview with a leading daily, Emraan had clarified that he would love playing a role opposite Alia, but wouldn’t like to romance her.
He had added “I can only work with her as a brother… Any other thing would make me sick. I can’t romance my cousin and I don’t think anyone has done that; it would be awkward”.
We guess the filmmakers would have to change the idea and will have to come up with something new, if they want to cast Alia and Emraan together.
