Anushka Sharma is already enjoying good fortune as she is the only actress to feature in two 300 crores grosser, PK and Sultan.
After Bombay Velvet and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma will share the screen once again in the biopic of Sanjay Dutt. This is her second collaboration with Raju Hirani after PK. There were speculations that she may play Madhuri Dixit or Manyaata in the movie, but she will portray neither of them.
Anushka will be seen in a cameo role of a scribe. Yes, she plays a journalist who accounts Dutt’s journey. She shares a cordial relation with director Raju Hirani since their first movie. Anushka accepted the role in a spur of the moment.
According to the reports, Aamir Khan was interested in playing Sanjay Dutt’s father role in the film, but nothing has been confirmed by the team.
The biopic is expected to hit the theatres next year. Apart from Sanjay’s life, it will be interesting to see how Ranbir’s career takes shape after delivering few flops. Ranbir’s next is Ae Dil Hai Mushkil opposite Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Anushka Sharma, will be releasing on 28th October.
