Monday was a super luck day for both, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil as well as Shivaay. Yes, both the movies witnessed a 45 percent occupancy rate and also a BOOST in collections. ADHM already entered the 50 crores club on Monday with a total of 53.35 crores, but ‘Shivaay’ just needed 4 crores more, as its 4 day total was 45.91 crores.
This Diwali clash between the biggies was in news since a long time. Reports said that both the movies would suffer equally, but on Monday, the game changed completely. A super-duper Monday was something that was needed, in order to cover up those poor weekend collections.
Now, let us see whether the Tuesday collections are stable or whether they have declined!

Shivaay witnessed a drop in the collections on Tuesday, as it minted 11.05 crores. This is superb, because it is more than the opening collections too. Earlier the movie wasn’t getting a good response, but at last, it seems people are liking it and spreading a positive word of mouth. With this, Shivaay has already entered the 50 crores club and the total stands at 59.96 crores!
Day 1- 10.24 crores!
Day 2- 10.06 crores!
Day 3- 8.26 crores!
Day 4- 17.35 crores!
Day 5- 11.05 crores!
Total- 59.96 crores!
Let’s see what is ADHM’s condition!

ADHM collections dropped as well. On Monday, it garnered 17.75 crores, but on Tuesday, it could manage just 13.03 crores. Now, since Tuesday was a weekday, these collections are not at all bad. The total has reached 66.38 crores. Let’s see how the movies perform on Wednesday.
