On Modi’s 1st visit to Bengal after taking over as the PM in May 2015, he kickstarted 3 social welfare schemes.
Even Mamata Banerjee was present in that event; but instead of appreciating and thanking the PM for all these new schemes, she took a dig at Modi government.
She questioned the PM that how these bank schemes are going to work if there are no banks in the villages.
She added
“In Bengal, Even now also after so many years of our independence it’s a fact, reality is, out of 3500 panchayats there are no banks in more than 1000 panchayats. Gram panchayat must be covered with banking facilities,”
However, PM Modi couldn’t tolerate this; he gave an epic reply to shut the mouth of Mamata Banerjee. The way he trolled her is super-awesome. You can’t miss out Mamata’s face at the end of the video.
