Short girls are always appreciated for their cute looks & for looking younger than their actual age. But only they know what struggles they face when it comes to fashion. So all you shorties out there, I completely understand how annoying it is to hear a “NO” with regards to your favorite clothing. At times, you might feel that fashion industry is only restricted to tall girls.
Let’s shed light on the problems that short girls relate to when it comes to fashion;
1. If you want to match up to the shoulder level of your tall friend, you have no choice but to sport those high heels!
We don’t really know who invented these heels but we short women owe him a lot, whether we like wearing them or not.
2. You can never wear horizontal stripes
Even if they are in trend in the fashion world, they will make you look fat, and even more shorter. So, if you want to flaunt your personality, horizontal stripes are a strict NO!! Switch to vertical instead.
3. Do you feel like wearing thigh-high boots? Sorry dear, you cannot!
They look cool on tall girls and make shorties look even more shorter. Better luck in next birth.
4. You just can’t follow the over sized trend because you look tiny in them.
It is simply wasted on us since boyfriend coats don’t look chic. So if you want to get that partly male and partly female appearance, Eh!!! forget about it…
5. Mini skirts are just skirts & you can’t get that sexy look ever! Tall girls are going to tease you by showing off their perfect minis.
Mini skirts are more like midi-skirts & midi-skirts are like your maxis! You can’t seduce your lover with this hot look that a mini-skirt gives.
6 .Sometimes shopping in the kids section goes right for you
For short and skinny girls, kid’s clothing is the best. However, can you imagine that awkwardness?
7. Pants are difficult to buy
Even if you buy them short, they somehow still need to be rolled at the bottom or you need to spend on alterations.
8. A big no no to flared dresses, jump suits & long skirts
The length of these outfits just doesn’t work for us in real life. In case you get a chance, consider it as a dream come true!
9. Long hair and you cannot be friends
Long hair? Short height? Not a great combo! So if you want to get a classy look, you have to go for a boy cut or a short bob.
10. Capris? Did you mean pants?
Keep the definition of Capri in mind! May be above knee-length shorts might do the magic of a Capri.
In spite of all these short-comings believe in “Good things come in small packages”. So, its a God’s blessing in disguise.
